Kausani is a hill station situated in Bageshwar district in a uttarakhand state.
Kausani covers almost 5.2 sq. Km total area. Kausani is a village well known for its scenic beauty and panaromic view of peaks like trishul,nanda devi and panchchuli.
While seeing in history point of view it is birthplace of sumitra Nandan pant and also in 1929 mahatma Gandhi stayed for 14 days in anushakti ashram near kausani and he was splendored by scenic view.
