It is a small town situated in satara district in the state of Maharashtra. Mahabaleshwar is also known for its world famous strawberries and raspberries. It is also pilgrimage place for Hindus because krishna river originates from here . During British raj it was considered as hill station and summer capital of Bombay. Apart from raspberries and strawberries it is also known for beautiful peaks,valley, mountains and quaint hills.
1.VENA LAKE : Vena lake is known for its shikara ride(houseboats).
Shikara ride is great fun in Mahabaleshwar and also from shikara you can have great view of spectacular mountains, peaks and beautiful trees. It is also cheap .
2.TAPOLA: Tapola is known for its jungle trekking. Every individual love to trekk in jungle because it is adventurous and great fun to do so.
And also if you are lucky than you can see some animals like deer and also some bird like peocock. Tapola will be nice destination for you and you will not regret.
3.LINGMALA FALLS: After roaming around whole Mahabaleshwar you will be tired and this fall is great for refreshing.
At lingmala falls you can dive in and refresh your whole body and mind .
4.CANNAUGHT PEAK: This place is best for picnic and it would be great for family time . Generally pepole come here to relax and chill.

5. LAWN BAZAAR: In this bazaar you can do shopping and you can buy some handicrafts or famous things of this place.

BEST TIME TO VISIT MAHABALESHWAR
Generally most people prefer summer season ( March to June)because in summer season temperature lies between 30 to 40 degree Celsius. Some people also visit during December to February month. During this time month temperature lies between 20 to 30 degree Celsius.
